Patchwork for the 21st Century |
This nostalgic crazy patchwork
has a feel of the past, but is created using today's technology.
This will not be a workshop on how to use your machine. It is how
to use it more creatively. You will have the opportunity to utilise
your embroidery stitches in a more creative way, giving you the
opportunity to learn more about your sewing machines' capabilities
through experimentation with lots of traditional and creative texturing
techniques such as pin tucking, scrunching, bobbin work, pleating
and much more. This is the perfect opportunity to use some of those
treasured pieces of fabric, trims, buttons & beads that you
have acquired over the years. The piece of fabric you create could
be turned into cushions, a table runner or be the basis for a wall
quilt.
